It's really hard for me to choose just one thing I have learned as Mrs. Globe because I have learned a lot. So, I think I will share the most significant thing I've learned, which is "The Power of Self-Love is Magical."
Self-love is the core power that can develop other potentials. When you love yourself enough, the love you spread out to others will be more powerful as well.
During the Mrs. Globe pageant, I received a lot of positive energy from my friends. I listened to their stories and was empowered and inspired by them. It gave me an understanding that everyone has been through both good and bad experiences until they start to realize they have to do something for themselves. Starting from loving themselves makes them happier and wanting to share that happiness with those around them.
Doing something for yourself is not wrong. In fact, it's a good thing to make yourself happy, and it becomes easier to share that happiness.
To help you get the picture, I would like to share my story, which I hope will be useful for you. I used to be someone who didn't care about looks before. I had never worked on my inner world, and I didn't see that it mattered. I thought my duty was to be a good daughter and a good student. And I did my duties well, and I thought that was enough. I never had any other dreams.
One day, I decided to try something new that I had never done before-- a beauty pageant. I felt it would be nice if I could dress up a bit. Suddenly, it became something I wanted to try. I entered the first beauty pageant without knowing anything, and unbelievably, I became a finalist. At that time, I knew nothing about being on stage. I had never even worn high heels. I felt so depressed and received so many hurtful words that made me feel like I didn't belong in that place at all. I went into the bathroom and cried hard, determined that I could definitely do better.
But that was just the beginning. I started to work on my inner world, my personality, and graceful walking skills. It turns out I enjoyed it very much. This is the power of loving yourself and doing something for yourself. The beauty pageant changed my world. I went from someone who rejected every opportunity to someone who is open to every opportunity. I'm so glad that I decided to participate in the pageant.
By having this experience, my goal is to never look down on anyone's dreams. Instead, I will assist them, offer advice, help them relax, and share positive energy. I consistently follow this approach, and it brings me great joy to witness women standing proudly on stage as the spotlight shines upon them.
During my duty of representing Thailand in the Mrs. Globe pageant in 2022, all participants become friends and encourage each other during the pageant. When someone did something well, everyone would compliment each other.
I knew right away that this is what I want! This is the right place for me to be! And now, I give back this support to others. But you cannot give back if you do not believe in yourself as well. So the first step is to believe in yourself so that you can help others to do the same.
After I received the title of Mrs. Globe, I encourage women to start loving themselves again. I help them to see that they are worthy and that it's right to follow their dreams. I know that participating in a beauty pageant is not easy and requires courage. That's why I want them to feel love and support, making the pursuit of their dreams full of wonderful memories. My voice is loud enough, and they believe me because I represent an organization that empowers women to believe in their potential.
So if you don't know where to start, start by loving yourself, and other good things will follow.
