As my reign as Mrs. Curve’ Globe 2022 comes to an end, I have taken the time to reflect on this past year to share some of my experiences. This has truly been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Not growing up in the pageant world or really having any idea what I was getting into, something told me to just say yes to this adventure.
There was a pull towards this group of amazing women from the beginning and at the time, I had no idea the impact some of them would have on my life.
The most important lesson or take away from this experience is to always remain true to yourself. It is so easy to get caught up in the trap of the overedited social media perfected life that sometimes you lose the reality of who you really are.
The crown, although beautiful and powerful and so special, is simply just a crown. It is the queen who is wearing the crown that makes it so spectacular. You will be every bit as worthy whether you receive the title you are working towards or not so walk into this experience with the expectation that you will show up as your best self.
When you are operating as your best, authentic self you will attract new people and new experiences into your life who match your vibration and your spirit. There is an entire globe of women just waiting to meet you, some of which will become life long friends. Open your heart to these new friendships.
After all, the legacy that started over 26 years ago will live on forever through the bonds you will make on this journey.
Enjoy every moment, the good times and the challenging times. Prepare your heart for this journey, it is a once in a lifetime experience.
